Project Description

Tableau Data 1 is a certified LEED Gold project, with an open office concept and a three-story outdoor atrium at the building’s core. The project consisted of shell and core construction, tenant improvement build-out, and a coordinated office move of over 700 staff members and equipment, including additional needs for furniture procurement and delivery. During the two-week move period, it was essential that Tableau’s services remain operational without a break in staff productivity of customer service abilities.

Our Approach

Westlake provided on-site construction project management services, while also interfacing with the landlord on behalf of the client, ensuring construction activities between the shell and core and tenant improvement teams were well coordinated and communicated. Our active approach included close monitoring of key deliverables, effectively resolving a number of construction-related issues, and prioritizing quick and efficient project delivery. Our past project experience working for both tenants and landlords gave us valuable insight into managing a successful tenant/landlord relationship.
