Project Description
Assurance relocated their flagship headquarters to the top two floors of the Madison Centre in Seattle. Located on the 35th and 36th floors, this tenant improvement project showcases the 360 degrees of spectacular views of the city and the Puget Sound. Creating a workplace that enhances innovation and creativity, the 37,150-sf office space includes collaborative spaces as well as places for quiet, independent work. A central, open staircase connects the two floors. After a brief delay due to COVID-19 closures, the workplace was adapted to address new protocols for health and safety including touchless fixtures and faucets, and screening between workstations that can be removed easily if they are no longer needed.
Our Approach
WCG took the time to understand what this new workplace meant for the Assurance culture and spearheaded a significant effort to prioritize their value proposition with design elements and constructability. WCG played a key role in the interface between the landlord, S&C team, and the ownership teams to keep momentum during COVID-19 as an essential business.
