Project Description
Juno Therapeutics is a rapidly growing biotech company that quickly outgrew its original home. Juno’s new headquarters—in the brand new 400 Dexter building in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle—was designed to house all its employees under one roof with space to expand. The new facility consists of 160,000-sf of commercial office and 40,000-sf of lab space.
Our Approach
WCG worked with Juno from site selection through occupancy. One goal of the project was to create an open, collaborative space that was cost-effective while also speaking to Juno’s core mission. During pre-construction, WCG maintained this project goal by working with the team to facilitate user group meetings, progress pricing, constructability review, and bid and award of the work. During construction, we were an active team member providing critical guidance and project management for Juno, leading the team to completion on time and under budget.
