Project Description

NanoString Technologies, located in South Lake Union, specializes in devices for molecular diagnostics and translational research. Over the course of several years, Westlake Consulting Group assisted NanoString with multiple tenant improvement expansions within the BioMed Reality (BMR) building.

Our Approach

Our efforts were led by Westlake principal, Erik Westover. Erik was on the team starting at early schematic review, tracking the price of bids, assisting in the design build and construction team awards, procuring furniture, and providing general project management. His deep experience in life science work and unique knowledge about biotech equipment allowed him to understand NanoString’s needs and execute the project efficiently.
