Project Description

Washington Institute for Coagulation, doing business as Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders, specializes in serving patients with inherited bleeding disorders by offering hematology, nursing, physical therapy, ultrasound, social services, pharmacy, 24/7 on call services and outreach clinics. WIC is relocating and consolidating their operations to downtown Seattleā€™s Central Business District at One Convention Place. The new location will house their administrative headquarters and provide patient care, pharmacy, education space and provisions for future lab and clean room space.

Our Approach

WCG led the selection of a qualified and responsive general contractor, and collaboratively worked with the team to finesse the budget, schedule and contract to work for all parties. The phased move-in schedule for patient and administrative occupancy was further complicated by a time-sensitive pharmacy move including the constraints of setting a new natural gas generator requiring detailed scheduling with public entities.
